On foot, horseback or by bicycle, visit the vineyards identified as ‘Grignan les Adhémar’ stretching out from both sides of the road, covering the land with vibrant colours in autumn and appetizing colours in summer. Our grape whisperers produce wines full of flavours perfectly matched to the local gastronomy. Getting to fully know our gastronomic culture involves paying a visit to one of our enthusiastic winegrowers so they can reveal some subtle aromas to you.

Discovering our wines

This appellation consists of 40 winegrowers and 3 Protected Designations of Origin (AOP). These people craft the aromas of flavourful wines, ideally combined with our local gastronomy (truffle and terroir link). Beautiful surprises are awaiting at our winegrowers’ estates when you go for a visit and tasting; this should not be missed during your holiday.

The University of Wine

Within the thick walls of the Castle of Suze la Rousse, the University has just celebrated 40 years of existence. Proud of their cursus, the university’s alumni show their skills with interesting tales of the trade followed by the hashtag #jaifaitsuze (I went to Suze). Wine courses over the time of a weekend can be enjoyed or offered as a gift for an oenological discovery which will teach you the profession’s secret tricks.

Grenache, Viognier, Syrah and Mourvèdre

This is the perfect combination of grapes for our wines of Drôme Sud Provence, so as to reveal all of your dish’s aromas.
