Nestled in a lavender-tinged green sanctuary, this village redolent of the Provençal accent offers a peaceful, savoury break to hikers on the sunny GR429 trail between the Ardèche and the monastery of Aiguebelle. Located at the crossroads of ancestral paths and with the legendary Nationale 7 road running through it, Malataverne is the gateway to Provence and its undeniable charm.
